Ever feel like giving up on your dream? Does the road to success seem too hard for you? Are your working 10-hour days and not receiving anything in return? Are you starting to doubt yourself?
You are not alone. All creative people will doubt themselves. All dreams worth pursuing are going to be hard at first. It always seems impossible until its done.
But do NOT give up on your dream just yet. I fully believe that the world needs you and your dream. Here are seven reasons you should on keep going.
1. The world needs you
There are no one like you out there. You are a unique soul, and if you quit your dream the world will lose some of its beauty. What would the world be without art? Where are people going to find inspiration?
2. It takes time
Acknowledge that it takes time. Do not look back. Do not count the hours you have worked for free. And certainly DO NOT count all the hours you should have practiced/written/painted/danced, but did not. Trust the timing of your life, it will work out in the end.
3. You can inspire others
Your creative gift can mean a huge difference in someones life. We all need to find inspiration sometimes. Your music can comfort us when nothing else can. Your writing can cheer us up when nothing else can. Your hand-written wedding invitations can help a bride not having a nervous brake down. Your Look to inspire others, it can inspire your heart too.
4. Your gift is unique
If you give up on your dream, who is going to cheer us up with their comics? Who is going to make us cry with their beautiful music? Who is going to make us die of laughter looking at their short-film? No one! If you don’t get up and take responsibility for your own dream, the human population will suffer. We want to see your dream come through!
5. It can make you happier
Lets not kid ourselves. It IS more fun to an artist than working in a supermarket. Or in a pub. Or in a store. You are going to spend a lot of time at work in this life, so you might as well enjoy it.
6. It makes you grow
Who doesn’t want to grow as a person? Your dream will challenge you into becoming the person you were meant to be. You will become better at your art, as well as get to know yourself better. You can not learn to produce breath taking, beautiful art from a book. You have to find it in yourself.
I hope this can inspire you to keep going. I am cheering you from over here! I want to see your dream come through. Please let me know how you are doing with your dream in the comments below, I would love to know!
